Putting my G back together. There is a square O ring seal on the distributor shaft ( 1" ID and 1/8" section). I should replace it. Anybody know of a good source. McMaster Carr has them in bags of 100.

Many good hardware stores carry o-rings.
I just looked in my parts book and there is no o-ring shown. There's a seal, part #800316, shown that goes under the clamp. Perhaps it's a regulator o-ring that became flat on the sides from all the years of being squeezed between the block and clamp. Dusty

Thanks, Dusty, but this is a square cross section O ring. I didn't think to look in my parts book. Maybe the seal is the square O ring.
