Can you drain the trans oil on a 6080 without losing all the hyd. compartment oil? Or do they all share the same stuff;

Hydraulic oil and rear end oil are the same and checked by dipstick on top side of PTO housing. The transmission has a separate oil/compartment, level check is a plug on the side of the transmission under the platform.

Ten years ago it corst about 7K to fix the trans after not refilling it because "a guy" changed the rear end oil and didn't know about the second check point......Make absolutely sure they are both full!!!!!

I seen the plug on the regular trans and back farther theres another, they are both full- but the trans oil looks alittle milky, dont like that ; just wanting to make sure if I needed oil for the whole system or just the trans; and cant find my dam book on it ; Thanks !!

I would change the tranny oil while you are at it. When I did mine, the old oil looked green!

be sure all boxs are full.WE FAILED to fill the range box and ended up tradeing the tractor off. WISH I HAD IT BACK.

Can you or does anyone have a diagram where this is/plug? 6080. I am trying to find on a manual... new to me. Trying to change the transmission hydrolic oil on by the pto. tractor is AC 6080 new to me. Thank you.
