Have  a chance  to buy  a  4041 runs good but   bad  rear end  .  comes  with loader, tiller,  blade ,  backhoe.
  Whats  the  good  & bad   ??? Also  can get  a  4040  cheap  -- Parts  machine.              will   parts  enter change.  Thanks  Tony

Should be able to part either one of those machines out TC. Folks are always looking for a good running Onan for a replacement engine. I believe the 4041 Simplicity is the same machine as the 620/720 AC's. Parts I would think should interchange along with the implements. Not sure about the 4040 and what will interchange wit' dat one. Not familiar wit' dat model machine...

Rear ends should interchange. I would like to get a loader and backhoe for my 720. Are you going to get them? I might be interested in some parts and pieces. If you want to sell some.

the parts will interchange, except for the intakes  and crabs on the motor.
 the 4040/616 was a 16hp, the 4041/620, and the 9020/720, were a 19.5hp.
  the rest of the drive lines can be switched between models.
