I've heard and have used on older diesels to use a quart of atf in 25 gals of fuel. But don't do this with the 2007 newer engines with DPF (diesel particulate filter).

Howe's lube, it is made for diesel fuel to lubricate. In all my trucks it improves the mileage, goes in everything I own.

you can also use the synthetic 2 cycle oil and cut the amount used in half.

DO NOT USE ATF in any ON-ROAD diesel. The red die in it is enough to get you a ticket and fine for tax evasion.
Had fuel sampled several times so far in last 5 years at spot inspections and also with inspector coming to shop. Asked about ATF and was told the die shows up and will end up creating a positive reading for non-tax fuel. Then asked about people using their own fryer oil in diesel mix , was told YOU MUST report that and pay road tax on what you make and use.

Read some test data, seems like if I remember right just have some bio-fuel, though it cleans out your tank and clogs filters for a bit...

At $4.199 per gallon, it should have everything needed in it!

Bio-additive fuel will loosen and clean most things from system, dissolve any old gunk in tank and lines and plug filters quickly.
When I was hauling B 100 we had to use special set aside trailers ONLY used for that product. Hoses and couplings and such had to be also for that product . Plant where we loaded said they used it for cleaning many things as it was environmentally friendly (not on hit list) for solvent cleaners.

During the Summer we run B20 in MoDot's trucks, the first year we replace filters at least 3 times during that summer (normally once a year) on trucks that was 3 years or older. After that we went right back to once a year with no problems. During the winter months we use standard winter bled. That first winter they tried using the B20 and we had gelling problems.

Just remember filter filter and filter if you concoct your own fuel. Had a guy bring in an F550 that ran like crap to our shop. He was making his own fuel from animal fat.
It was disgusting in that fuel tank. Words can't describe the smell. |

What did you find in the fuel system? 6.4 or 6.0? |
