It's no real acerage, but I've been planting the garden today. The D15 and 17 have gotten a workout, but the 14 is just watching. I might have to run her with the planters just for the heck of it.

I got about 12 rows of silver queen and 6 rows of merrit in the ground. Now its time for the peas, butter beans, string beans , okra, squash and mellons. I just hope we get some rain. It has been dry as a bone around here.

Figured i'd pick at ya a bit.  We certainly are in need of rain and its hard to complain knowing how bad other folks have it right now.

hey if you want some rain come get it. its been raining about once ever  day or night. and yesterday i was down by missouri by alton, il. and there was floods there in some places farther down in the state there was alot of flooding. i think metropolis, il had floods to but i didnt
wd with a freeman model 90 trip loader, wd45, 38 unstylled wc, b 10 garden tractor and 2-14 ac trip plow. grandpa has a 56 wd45. wd. allis chalmers snap coupler blade and 3 bottom snap coupler plow

James I wish we could do just that, help ourselves and some others too. Maybe we(especially you flooded folks) can get back to normal(?) soon, this country cant afford for us not to.

I am definitely dragging feet. The bumble bees have been flying for about a month. I would have planted about three weeks ago, but it  hasn't been anything above a 10% chance of rain except for two days when it was a 30% chance of rain. I pretty much knew it wasn't going to rain then. I think if they don't predict a 65% chance of rain or better it means that getting a shower isn't going to happen. It looks that way anyway.
