I have a Gleaner F Combine going to the scrapyard. This was a parts machine for me for my newer F. The parts machine has a 262 Gas Engine that is stuck, I dont know the history of the engine. Is there any value or should I just let it go with the machine. I appreciate all of your thoughts, this is a great place to ask questions.

Save it,  the block, crank, sleeves are the same as in a 262 diesel and usually the gas blocks dont have the sleeves sinking.

Yep save it.  It's worth more as an engine than it's worth in scrap iron weight.

Pull out the plugs and add ATF to the cylinders . It may free-up in time.

I used a gas block to fix my D262 for a D17.

The 262 gas pistons are NLA, and are worth salvaging.  Sleeves are still available, but the pistons are impossible to find.
Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives.
