Sad video with some sad Allis Chalmers tractors in need of a rescue.  This guy almost seems proud of all the stuff he has let go to pot.

He sounds like a real loser. Maybe if he had an ounce of ambition the place wouldn't be such a hellhole.

He's a member of this forum.  Last logged in two days ago.  He gets "beat up" pretty regularly here and the on "the other site" because of his videos, posts and ideas.  Not a bad guy, just a young guy in his late teens, maybe twenty trying to get life figured out.  He's learned much in the past couple of years, (kind of like some of our other teenage members).

Whatched a video of his taking a saw zaw to a perfectly good AC B tractor, then chaining up the tranny and dragging it around for fun. I'll not comment.

Sounds like he needs attention.  Maybe a kick in the would help, but I'm afraid that you might damage your foot.

I made it about 2 minutes into the video. How pathetic would your life have to be to make anything that stupid and then post it on the internet, has to be a complete moron.

Sounds like he had a bad gas can sealer job.  Probably doesn't have a lot of money to throw at hobbies.  At least he has one tractor inside and the cars out.  His place looks better than most in my county and mine on a bad day.  I didn't finish the video as I didn't care for the swearing but I swore more than that before I became a Christian.  Not everyone on here is 50 and has all their debts paid off and can put money into hobbies.  Cut him some slack.  Would you rather him put a video up of how he's blowing people away on his play station?  Bunch of critical, holy than though, screw balls on here sometime.

Give him a break, I don't really like all the swearing he does either.I'm sure all of you were perfect when you were young. He has made progress and his new videos are really good. Do you really need to call him a dead beat and a moron when you have seen one video.

I regret posting this thread.  I never did call him any names or mean to offend.  Just thought it was a sad video of some sad tractors and what looks like it was a nice farm at one time.

The part that made me sick was the animals. I'm sure we have all had tractors that had to wait outside for their turn. I could have done without the swearing also.

I changed mine too. But I completely agree with you. And the WC scrapping video is a real hit below the belt to me because of I know all of us on here put a lot of love and money into preserving these American Icons and to see someone hauling them off is just dumb.

I know he is just 17 (apparently) but so am I and I know way better than to throw away tractors and refuse to talk like that. I wonder if things would be different if he actually knew what he was sending to the scrap yard?

Some ambition, some stupidity but we all aren't perfect. You have to give him credit for trying. I don't agree with everything he does but everybody can say the same about me.

Lots of good, going bad right there as he laughs it off.   Claus thanks for posting.  I was thinking that I had heard Lanse's story before but just cant put the story I've heard with the actions and attitude I witnessed in the video, though I do wish him luck. Maybe he'll grow up and realize what he doesnt seem to care about. The value of anything, even life.

Here's the post where he tried to get it a new home:
One of the great things about this forum is that it is usually "self moderating".  What I mean is, we can all usually discuss our opinions like adults and the moderators usually do not need to get involved in this section.  Of course, for me, that often means biting my tongue or actually thinking about what I want to say and how it may be interpreted.  There is often nonsense posted here, a lot of off-topic stuff that does not interest me, the same questions that get asked and answered every week, and children talking about all the tractors they are going to buy or feel the need to babble on every topic without bringing anything to the discussion.  The edit function is nice for someone who wants to "refine their position" if they come off too harsh, but it is usually not needed.  Several people come to this forum daily to belong to this community, and that includes people like Lanse.  Of course we are all free to express our opinions, and many try to help make this community better.  A few years ago when Lanse was having all his trouble with his B, someone here sent him a new carburetor for it anonymously.  RAkien drove several hours to help him get it started, having never met him in person.  I guess my point is, many of us had a strong male role model/father to help us become men, some did not.  In my case, I was still quite foolish at that age even with that help.  I'm glad I learned from much of that foolishness, and hopefully, with time and continued help, others will too.  Finally, the best thing about this community with all the different opinions is that we all will not always agree, but no one's opinion (except Darin's) is greater than anyone's else.

The thing that bugs me is that he didn't seem to try to get the tractor to another young guy or gal. I guess it is possible that nobody he knows was interested, but any of those tractors would have been good projects for a kid in high school.
