I got a set of wheel weights for my WD45 the other day front and rear. Been setting in the neighbors barn for years and sunk down in the dirt. He just gave them to me. I got them all painted up, should be putting them on tomorrow. How much to the fronts weigh an how much do the backs weigh? Also what is the average price of a complete set? Thanks.

I have paid 100 for a set of rear ones, and up to 200 for a set of front ones. the rears weigh 135 lbs each, and the fronts I think are 90 lbs each

Can I bolt the front wheels weights to the inside of the wheel? Looks like the center is big enough to go over the hub to me. They are kinda an eyesore on the outside by pics I have seen. I bought longer bolts than I really need I think.
For the back I bought bolts long enough that I can add another set of weights later on if I want. |

Got the weights on today. Front weights fit good on the inside of the wheel but was rubbing the axle(found out the bushings were wore out). I didn't know the bushings were in such bad shape until I jacked it up. So I put the weights on the outside instead.
How hard is it and do I need special tools to replace the bushings? Also is there a way to take slack out of the steering in the gear box? My tie rod ends are in good shape. ![]() |
