    Posted: 23 Jan 2011 at 10:10pm

I seen the picture of this highcrop here a while back and decided to build a model of it.   I went with the fixed hitch that Henry posted info on to keep it simple, but it still ended up being a time consuming build.   After cutting all of the unwanted stuff off the casting, I built the drop boxes, then turned the inside of the wheels so the dropboxes would be recessed like the real one.   Then built the frontend, and turned the hubs for the rear wheels.   Also added clutch and brake pedels, control levers, breather and exhaust.   Hope you enjoy checking it out.

acd21man:  It would be difficult to explain, but if you go to my website and click the links to photos under each project most will give you a pretty good idea what's involved.

That is cool. If it was setting outside on concrete it would be really hard to tell it from the real one.
