You could use a 7045-7060 rearend and then transfer the axles and final drives over from the 7080 and it would be the same. About that 7010 with a 7060 rearend....came like than from Milwaukee??

yeah doc! when it arrived, them little sprigs in the clutch plate were loose and rattling, sounded real bad for a new tractor, as it echo'd thru out the whole tractor. sooooo...the dealer i was with at the time split it to replace that plate while on warranty. that's when we found out about the rear end/tranny! none of the parts they ordered for the 7010 would fit, all to small. after that, i've recieved a bunch of calls from other dealers and others as they wanted that tractor for a pulling tractor! one dealer offered me a brand new 8010 in exchange for my 7010! i thought about it, then thought that i shouldn't ever have a problem with this larger rear end/tranny with the hp in front of it...and i haven't! so i kept the 7010. i still have standing offers for that tractor! if i ever want to sell it!. thanks doc for the info!

oh yeah...doc...seems the low side of the tranny is out, i still have the high side, and disk in the high side, but it's a gear to fast unless i pull the throttle back, which has worked for the last 8 years or so. so that's why i'm asking if like 7060 guts would be the same as the 7080 guts? this tractor is only used with the disk, never gets unhooked.
