185 Bell housing?

Would a 185 bell housing pattern match a 262 cu. in. from a Gleaner? The 185 engine is seized and needs to be replaced. Thanks to those 'in the know'. 
Currently- WD,WC,3WF's,2 D14's B. Previously- I 600,TL745,200,FL9,FR12,H3,816 LBH. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal!

thats one giant step backwards  i would look for  another 301 with money for the 262 for some one working on a d series

     I would go along with that. Look for a 301 like he said.

While I appreciate your words of wisdom the question still remains wether the two have the same bolt pattern?
