Used my gun to shoot some fresh grease in the old Dearborn disc tiller and forced out some brown grease. Glad to see grease but never seen brown before. Thanks

For what it's worth, the Deere lithium grease I use is brown.

Grandpa used a variety that was very dark green/black. I was surprised to find it still in his grease gun I used to use in the 60s.

I have some old Lithium grease that’s brown…
It’s from the 90s… Otherwise when the grease is brown normally means water got in there and made rust… |
