Used my gun to shoot some fresh grease in the old Dearborn disc tiller and forced out some brown grease. Glad to see grease but never seen brown before. Thanks

Moisture contamination? Seen it before when stuff sits.

For what it's worth, the Deere lithium grease I use is brown.

I have some old Lithium grease that’s brown…
It’s from the 90s…
Otherwise when the grease is brown normally means water got in there and made rust…

My quaker state bearing packing grease (green and white tub) is brown(ish).
