Welcome aboard. Nice lineup. I wouldn't be surprised at the 4W-305 pulling that drill at all.

We run a 7580 also, use it primarily for tillage.  I wish we had a 4W220 or 305 tractor around, but have never seen one for sale locally. 

Love the concorde drills! My uncle had a 60 ft on 12" spacings. I ran it for him a few times. We used to pull an old 35 ft 665 john deere air seeder with our 7580. Our 7580 has 14000hrs on it. We still do some pre working with it. The tractor was our seeding, spraying, cultivating, and harvesting tractor until the mid 90's. I think I paid $30000.00 for my 305 about 10 years ago.

could you get a pic of the 4w-305 pulling the flexi-coil air drill? My dad used to work for Flexi-Coil before the New Holland days.

Nice!   You should post some pics. I only know of one other 305 used in about a 150 mile radius. Allis is not very popular up here.

N.P. I might get a few shots of it in the yard for ya. When I start seeding I post some action shots. lol 

My dad has a 7580 and 2 8550's that are still the primary tractors we use on the farm.  We love them and you cant be hp to price ratio for these big machines.  Here is a pic of the one we overhauled engine and painted with our grain cart.  I cant for the life of me remember the address of the 2 8550s side by side and im not at home to get passwords to check directory lol.  i was able to look up an early submission i posted on yesterdays tractors.

Wesson, have not had any problems with the 4w305 at all with the trans, drop box, rear end or any where else. I do try not to jerk or run in a gear that is higher than was mant to pull in. I also keep my rpm's backed off a little. Not for any reason other than with the big engine you can do these things and still have plenty of power and tractor. The 7580 I rebuilt the engine and rebuilt the drive shalfs and u joints, and grease them often and have not had any trouble with them since. I also back off a couple of hundren of rpm's with the 7580.

Thanks Lonn and Charlie N.W.ILL For the picture posting info. The picture from Kurzy cannot be beat, it is the nicest 4w305 I have seen. But I will give it a try maybe within the next couple of evenings.

I sure appreciate the info!  I push my 305 to its limits most of the time. Just waiting for it to bite me in the butt. The tractor is always well maintained. I run a hundred hrs. on the engine oil changes, and three hundred on the tranny/diffs, changing all filters/bypass filters every time. I got the tractor with 4000 hrs on it. Got 7000 hrs now with no big issues yet.

A beautiful 305 picture. I have retired  and the next generation is all red now, but to have something to drive I bought an old AC 220, 1969 model. I owned and farmed with an 8550, 4w305 and an Agcostar 8425. The 4w 305 was probably the best tractor I ever owned until a hired man didn't  clean the radiator and it got hot. Bear in mind we had both the 8550 and 4w305 turned to 360-375 pto hp and the 4w305 lasted for 20 years at that power. The Agco star was the biggest piece of junk and most powerful  I ever owned

welcome clint! my biggest tractor is a 7080, i love all of AC's 4x4 tractors, hope to get one someday! i want to plan my next vacation to go to kurzy's place just to drive that awesum tractor of his! i gotta replace that 7080 soon or rebuild it...whew!! might even try for a stieger if cheap nuff! my ole lady...ooops...i mean my loving wife would just ....well we won't go there just yet!! again..welcome clint, hope too see pics of your tractores/equipment soon!
