Sure looks like an option from A-C. The down arms that bolt to the lift arms I have seen before and normally have linkage that connects to them to go forward and lift/lower a front mount cultivator.  The cylinders and their front mounting bracket also look like A-C parts. What kind of valve controls all this stuff ??

I'm going to say very rare, because I've never seem one. Mack must have. Funny thing about that attachment: when the standard hydraulic pump was in tip top shame, it pretty much could lift the front wheels of the tractor off of the ground. How much more lifting power would anyone ever need ?????????   The lifting speed would be very slow compared to just the one internal cylinder. The series 3 models had an internal ram that was a little larger than the older models to help with lifting power.

Is it possible to put a series 4 transmission and rear on an older front?

P.S. Read a little farther down looks like we have the answer to the mystery...
