Need a little help. Not a great carb man. Bought a wd with a gleaner z in it. wouldn't idle so I changed some things and got it to idle. In the process of taking apart several times it will now idle but when I give it gas it kicks the governor in and out in and out repeatedly. If I fool with the load adjustment it will smooth out but as soon as move throttle does the same thing again. Throttle rod may be an 1/8 to a 1/4 inch short. Could it be this or in the load adjustment needle?

Governor link rod too short will make the governor more jumpy, so it could be your problem, but not guaranteed to be your problem.
