Get out your torch and welder. I have seen one from a WC under a D21. Use your imagination.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Use a 200 hollow,, cost redused wide front, they are a little narrower but use 1 inch spacers and it works that's the best route

I had a D17 front end on my D 21 that originally came from Doyle Bounds in MO. Now Dustin Swall in CA. has thing. I had in down to 7500 lbs., but could not make weight and pulled pretty good in the 8000 lb class.
B 10 Custom. Serial # 1001 D21, First D21 built 69 #4498 and Last D 21 Built #4609. 1946 MM UTU. And 2000, 2005 Pete's. AC custom Hauling.

D 17 wide front works well.
That's what I have on mine
I would cut the axles down where only 2 holes remain.

I was pulling in the 8200 lb class with the stock front end and cast in it.
I'm down to 7300 lbs with no weights or driver.
I also put lighter frame rails off an old Superstock on it at that time and 7.50 x 16 front tires.
My guess is it took about 200 lbs off comparing the 2.
You could lose more cutting it down tho
