    Posted: 31 May 2010 at 8:29pm
was working on my 45 and took the carb apart to clean it up.

The carb is a TSX 464

Thought I took a pic to show which jets went where, but I cant seem to find it.

I think I put them in right but thought I would ask the experts.

I put the jet with the larger hole in the bottom of the carb and the jet with the smaller hole in the top half of the carb.

It seems to run but seems to be running really rich.

Did I put them in the wrong spots?

I would try to get a hold of Steve at Band B custom circuits. He might be headed to Dale's for the weekend. His number is 973-632-5596

It does help, but what I need to know is does the jet with the smaller hole in it go in the top half of the carb or in the bowl of the carb?

I can't tell w/o taking mine apart.....but you could try switching them and see if it runs better.

Probably gonna have to do that.

Keeps varying between flooding and then acting like its running out of fuel.

Got a new carb kit in it but the float wasnt changed.

I have adjusted both screws in an attempt to get it going better, but so far not so good.

I suppose it could be the float needle, but it shouldnt be cause its new, but anything is possible.
