 Topic: Super SP 100 Restoration

I am starting the restoration of an Allis Super SP100 self propelled combine. I am wondering if there are people out there who know about these, or have restored one themselves. I will post pictures and videos along the way.

First off, thanks for picking this great candidate for restoration! I can't wait to see pics! Super 100s are my favorite All-Crop, so this will be a fun thread for me! Make sure and tell us the serial number! Dennis Anderson on here is also fixing up a regular SP-100. Both combines are about 90% the same machine, so he can help you out I bet! Good luck!

Yours wouldn't happen to have the optional creeper gear and/or optional hydro-traction drive, would it? If it has the creeper, it will be a lever on the operator's station near the separator engagement lever. Not the regular gear shift or variable v-belt lever.

You have some real gems! Looks like the parts combines are regular 100s. You wanna sell that chopper on the parts combine with the cab?

You bet! It shorted out the keyboard so I had to run to town and get a new one! LOL! Not really, but, you get what I mean!

I have 5 and a part of another. I never found any in South Dakota. They all came from out of state. 3 Neb 1 Iowa 1.5 in ND

I'm looking at a rough Super 100 in Nebraska, but it has a regular 100 header, not a Super 100 header.

I have a buddy who bought a SP100 a few years back I had found. He has built it back to field condition, but did not get to harvest with it this year, due to weather conditions. JERRY-KS

That one with the cab is pretty cool. I guess someone found a way to make one work. I'm not sure which would be worse though. Standing out in the dust, Standing out in the dust, or standing in a little less dust inside a greenhouse

Super 100 has larger tires, a header auger with retractable fingers, an inclined steering wheel, a different decal on the door behind the cylinder, 2 piece unloading auger, a taller radiator stack, and an improved gauge cluster located on the right side of the operator's station. Supers also have remote adjustable saw tooth wind valves. I think that's about it. The regular and Super 100 combined are pretty much the same, other than that. The early regular 100s also had a WD engine, but soon after the WD45 came out, the power crater engine quickly found its way into the 100s.
