No ideas?
Guesses? 500 lbs? 1000? I need to drop 1,000 lbs but I don't think it weighs that much.

If I had to guess I'd say less than 1000 and that cab isn't ROPS.

Not much Charlie as I cut that exact Stolper off my SIII by myself. Removed the glass, light boxes, unbolted door and any panels including rear swing out before cutting the "posts" about mid-way and removed the top portion with a pulley and some rope.
I'd say 500-600 lbs., tops. |

I'm at 8900 with me on it and CAB.
I have removed lift arms, which were 200 lbs but really don't have anything else to remove. How are they getting a 190xt below 8000? Mine has the 3.25" axles so I guess they are heavier. As is the spin out rims and cast center. I guess I need to source light weight rims :(

Yeah, but Charlie, doesn't know you could lift 4 suitcase weights with one hand. I don't mess with Tim!! How do you think we loaded a dead 7045, and a dead 7020?? Tim was pushing!!! That's how.

Still heave the cast rear wheel centers? Go with steel hubs and lightweight 9 bolt rims.

If the deal falls through, I have a set of 9bolt hubs and 18.4-38s that will work. They are spoken for pending payment as of now.

Talk to Kenny Sr. at Louderback in Stanley. They had their XT pulling at 7000 pounds before they sold it. Of course this was in the late 80s.

I talk to Kenny every so often. He is pulling a 185 6200 lb LS tractor now.
The 190 is in many pieces with a lot of them missing.

Anthony, I'm still holding those pieces that were salvageable off that Stolper for you but no longer travel for business.
As for my size, I'm still working on becoming "round"! Let me know if you ever have someone coming even close to me as I can meet them with the parts. |

Hmm. Well, if they aren't in your way, hang on to them, the family and I are thinking of making a round robin tour of TX, to see some of our family down there, and a trip to Hard Eight does sound good.........
