I think the bearings are the "open race" type. I have used the balls from a sealed 6205 bearing (avail at your auto store or snowmobile dealer). Do not have a source for the races (am not located near any real good bearing house); and have had to reuse the ones in the box. I have found that placing the lower race in the upper position and lower race in the lower position works better (the lower race generally has more pitting/corrosion than the upper race.
What this country needs is more unemployed politicians-and lawyers.
Currently have: 1 D14 and a D15S2.

Did you mean to say "UPPER race in the lower position"
in other words switching locations with the two existing bearings.
