In the process of rebuilding the steering on the Model C with Woods L59 mower. There is excessive wear on the steering link ball joints between the gear box and the front pedestal. Does anybody sell this link, or can I go to a cheaper route and weld tie rods from a car onto the shaft, keeping the length the same. Does anybody know how to measure the taper to compare a vehicle cross reference. I know it will be tough to find a similar vehicle tie rod joint because the clearances will be tight.
