I am looking to purchase a 7060. I want to pull in the under 13 weight class. I have 2 questions. How can I tell power director from power shift? Which would be better for pulling? I have a 7040 with high, low, and park on the right console and the two buttons on the floor for high and low. I always assumed this was a power director but maybe I am wrong. A lot of bad information out there! Thanks in advance!

Your 7040 is a power director. A power shift, would have nothing on the floor, instead everything would be on the right hand console. The power shift lever, would be to the left of the high, low, park lever, and would have six positions. I don't know which would be better for pulling.

Thank you. That is what I assumed. I'm also assuming the powershift has clutch packs that would cause problems when pulling.
