Parting out E gleaner, motor, header and any other parts you need, combine will be going to scrap, except motor, if nobody needs parts. this motor will also work in a d17 or wd tractor. text is best or call 573-690-3033. message will also work. can deliver smalls to Boonville swap meet on March 5 or 6

Have often wondered this: Will a WD or WD-45 'W Series' motor bolt up in place of a D-14, D-15, D-17 'G' Series Motor ? G |

Will fit WC-WD-WD-45-D17. Will not fit a D14/15.
I've parted three Gleaner E's and all engines went into tractors Will have to or should use a tractor governor

No it's not a W engine. It is the same on the rear so it will bolt into WC/WD/WD45 chassis but the problem comes at the front end as D17 used longer pulley. There are "work arounds" but not just "bolt her in". I believe they are "G" engines.

W-201 and W-226 are from WC-WF-WD-WD45. The G-226 was from D-17's-170-175.

Thanks Dr. So a D-17 G 226 will bolt up to a WD Torque Tube, but some mods are required at the front in order to install in a WD Eg crank pulley. G |
