I have an 8010 with a power director, PD works fine, the problem is with the range, it will move fine in low range if you put it in high range it will not move and it will stall the engine, it will not free roll in high either, if you put it in park and have the transmission in gear it will stall the engine and it will not free roll, the range will not go into nuetral when it's in nuertal position it pulls like it's in low range. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like low range lower gear is seized on the pinion shaft. A bad thing.

You probably won't see much. Maybe some bluing or discoloration of the low range gear down close to the pinion shaft. Pull the cab floor and look in from the top. You have to do this anyway to disconnect the fork to remove the shift cover.
