I need to know what will swap into my forklift in place of the 160/149. I can do fab work. I have a good 201 and a AD3-152 Perkins also.

Thanks. Brian

Mack, do you know of anyone that might have done the 201 swap with the adapter plate. Or maybe the Perkins.

In order to get that 201 to fit in there you'll spend about as much money/time as to find a donor 160/149.
Can't fix stupid

BrianC- Is the 149 or 160 beyond rebuild, or just looking to add a little more HP?

A 201/226 is too wide to fit between the side frames. The flywheel is too large and too deep to fit into the bell housing.
