A while back I was helping a friend on his 170 ALLIS , WE HAD BENT A FEW PUSH RODS ( THE ORIGINAL ONES ) So we ordered new from Steiner and we had trouble wit the rocker arms not being able to get them in place. Well I measured the tips that go into the lifters and the new ones are ten thousands .010 too big to go into the holes in the lifters ! Not all of the lifters were the same either ! So I ground them down the .010" and now they fit. Problem solved .
