My 1953 WD has a cracked cylinder head. Luckily I also have a 1952 WD parts tractor (non-running). The 1952 cylinder head is taller than the 1953.
Can I use the shorter cylinder head? Assuming that I have to use the shorter pushrods and mounting hardware. Plan B: If I can't switch the heads and I have to rebuild the 1952 (complete engine) will it fit on my 1953 tractor? Transmissions are different. Thanks for any help, "Depressed in Michigan" Tom |

Should bolt right on. Push rods are the same, rocker arm stands are different. The blocks are the same. Either one will bolt to either tractor.
