I pulled the harness that runs the factory electric snow blower chute off my 2nd 616 while I had the engine out to replace the engine harness. Mailed it off to Steve at B&B Custom Circuits who is going to be reproducing them. Just thought I would post some pictures of how it was routed and Steve can feel free to post pictures of his repopped harness.

You da' man Dave! In my kit, I'm using a longer bat handle toggle control switch. The reason for that is when I installed the electric lift on my 716H years back for the snow plow attachment, I found that a standard height toggle switch was a bear to work with gloves on. Sooo, I changed out the switch to a longer bat handle toggle. Man, what a difference that made when wearing gloves! I had more "feel" on the toggle, and I didn't mix it up with the other switches either. The long handle was the electric lift period. I doing the same thing with this harness kit. Using the same high amp long bat handled toggle for control. Should be much easier to use when its freezin' cold out and ya got gloves on! That's just one of the improvements. I have a few more idea's also I'm working on once Dave's harness gets here..

Not this time she didn't Dave. LOL! She stayed in the house. She only went out when the dog had to do her thing, and then the snow drifts were a couple feet high. LOL! I didn't get home till midnight. Put in a 16 hr. day that day, and then had to work storm trouble that weekend. Sucked for me....

Steve, I can tell you that I was off on the length of the harness. It turned out to be about 12" short on both ends. Other than that it worked the one time I used it. I will be interested in an updated harness when you get all the bugs out, just shoot me a email with the cost.
