ok u have a ca question or more like a hydraulic

i have a ca with a belly mower and it has hydraulic raise on lower on the belly mower is it possible that i could get another cylinder and have it where the back arms would raise at the same time the mower raises? has anyone tried this or anyhting

Your Ca should already have two cylinders. One on each side. The three outputs on the hold valve are for right left and remote connections. When cultivators were installed one cylinder was pointed fwd and raised the front gang. The other was left in the rear position and operated in delay so the front gang came up first as you moved foward the rear gang wiped your tracks and came up later. The rear arms can be pined down by moving the ram ends to the inner holes with the arms pointed down. I don't use the hyd lift on my woods either. I just put a pipe I place of the ram and never lift the mower. The chain just limits how low the deck can go if it's not limited you can wreck it when it drops into a holes that's to deep.

If you have the lift that came with the woods mower it uses the right cylinder and the left one can be used to operate the rear lift. The rear lift is designed to operate with only one cylinder. If you want a third cylinder just plug it in to the aux remote it should be sticking up through the floor pan under the seat. All three will operate together.

When using the CA to operate the cultivators the right cylinder will not use the lift and hold feature as it is plumbed from the factory to a different port at the "hold Valve" than the left side and the remote, The line to the right side can be changed to the other port and it is recommended to do so in the "Heavy Tillage" implements manual, this puts both cylinders in the "Lift and Hold' circuit to split the load to both cylinders, instead of just the left side.  Doing so eliminates the feature that allows the front gangs to drop first and then by moving the lever further drop the rear gangs. To answer "what a mess's" original question, yes : you can add a third cylinder to work the mower.

I have 3 cylinders on my CA. I'm in the middle of a restoration so I apologize for the disassembly. The rear cylinders hook up to the fittings facing to the right in the HYD2 picture and the forward cylinder screws into the port in HYD2. You can see in the HYD2 picture the fitting broke off and I have to coax it out. We never used a belly mower but this hookup worked great with the cultivators. Changed setting on the control for traction boost when pulling the disk or plow. It's been a few years so I may be a little foggy on how the settings work. I'm new here and I'm still trying to get the picture sizes right...

Yesterday I tried to post a pick of the selector valve that resides in my "file manager"of the "member control panel".
