I was raised on a Massey Ferguson. When I started collecting AC, no one could understand why. I like the MF's, but there is no compare to the sweet sound of an old WC when she is is full tune and playing that" stack music".

I have one of those 961 Dorfs. I keep it at the other place.
My grand daughter took the picture with a telephoto lens from over 1/4 mile as a school project.

David I couldn't agree more. My water pump seal went bad today but while messin' with that I got the tuning right. GOOD LORD it sounds awesome and the miss that I had been complaining about went away along with the vicious acceleration. I have a chrome stack on it at the moment and now it barks a good mean and consistant bark.

I am actually looking for a '35 to '37 John Deere B with spoke wheels on rubber. I want to find one in a fence row, but instead people drag them out of a fence row and want a rediculous price for them.

I also would like a John Deere H under the same scenario... I'm talking cheap.

I love my D14, but have become addicted to the 2 cyl. sound of a JD.
Just when I thought I was finishing my "honey-do-list", she turned the page!!!

My friend's grandfather has a Case SC and a VAC sitting in a barn. Ever since I saw them I thought it would be neat to fix them up... I may see if he's interested in selling them next summer. After I get my B going, of course.

I always liked the JD H and M models too. Neat little tractors.

Favorite non Allis is probably my 1919 Twin City 12-20.  Very advanced tractor, four cylinder with 16  valves, and twin cams; and LOUD!

When I was a kid, the local Case dealer had a couple of Black Knights. The 1070 Black Knight has been my favorite since.

My great uncle who bought a Ferguson 40 in 1956 passed it on to his son and his wife sold it to me when he passed.  I wanted it because of it's past owners and I have plans on it being restored this winter Lord willing and the Creek don't rise.

Traders? I guess I was a trader(not a traitor) I bought a 1968 110 JD at a garage sale and traded it for 3 more Jacksons than I paid 8 miles later !!

I also met Dave Chapelle at the garage sale, we were both looking at a 79 Booneville 750

The neighbor's 706 was always a treat to drive but after working at a red dealership I cooled some on the red ones. Too many things that wear out. I really liked my buddies 7000 and TW25 Fords. I have only sat in these tractors but they seemed to have been really good machines for them with little or no problems. They are responsive and fuel efficient like an Allis. Been in a few newer Deeres and owned an A and never liked any of them. They certainly don't have that snap like an Allis and was glad to see the A go down the road. It was hard starting and a big dog.

For sentimental reasons I would like a Ford 960 and a Deere 3010 like my grandfather had. My uncle has a nice Oliver 770 that I would like to buy from him if he ever parts with it. I've also always liked the Oliver 1650 as a pure working tractor.
