I need to repair or replace the adaptor that goes from the end of the govenor shaft to drive the tach cable? Does anyone have one that they would part with or has someone repaired one? The tach cable was gone when I got this tractor and I assume that the cable seized and that is what broke the tab off the end that fits in the shaft. This is on a series 1 gas with power steering.

Search my old posts.  I found one at Autozone.  It was around 10 bucks.  It wasn't in stock though, got it the next day.

Have the complete 2 piece set in stock. The MSD8491 will not work because it only has a square hole. Stock cable has a key that fits into the adapter.
