Hi folks,
I have a D15 industrial gasser series 1. I’m trying to change the V belt and I’m banging my head against the wall. It looks like all I should have to do is remove the 4 bolts that secure the hydraulic pump flange, and slide the flange forward on the splined shaft a bit, and that should give me enough room to put the V belt on. Right? I got 4 nuts off, and the flange seems to have some play in it, but I can’t get it to move. I don’t see a set screw either. What am I missing? Thanks for your help :) |

Never mind, I got it. I took the front frame off and slid the hydraulic pump forward. I didn’t need to take the 4 bolts out; in fact, I really shouldn’t have. Anyhow, Vbelt installed!

sounds a LOT easier than changing the fanbelt on my forklift ! step 1, unbolt 300# weight to gain ACCESS to the pump.... step 2, locate the MC hoist toslide the 400# weight out of the way step 3, take a well deserved break BEFORE the back goes waaaaay out. .....
