A freind is rebuiling a D15 the head gasket that was shipped didnt have any fire rings in it. Called three different vendors all had same gasket without fire rings. So gasket installed ran 1 hr started missing burnt out head gasket between cylinders. Called vendor back cant get any other gasket from them. Finally found gasket with fire rings and installed know ok. Any one else have this problem

Fell Pro has fire rings. I put one on the little pink puller and it is good.

Very common with the 160 engine. Buy the Fel-Pro with fire rings. It will stop the problem with proper installation and torque. HTH Tracy Martin
