Pulled my starter as all it'll do is click . Sure looks worn out. I'm boxing it up and sending it to Steve for a rebuild . Under the starter is a maybe 1" by 6" lever? Anyone know what this is ? One end is attached to the top of the torque tube . Other end has a hole but not attached to anything . THANKS

Lots of torque on the starter and over time hard engagements or a bit of binding/misalignment will cause them to crack.

Go Dawgs!
