Magnum 18 refit into a Brand X garden tractor. The old VT-17 was coil ignition. The new, magneto. The wiring is a salad. I want to wire a new stand alone start/run/charge circuit. Any suggestions or schematics.

make sure that you change the key switch so that ground is off and no power can go to the ground or the magic smoke will come out of the magneto
