Can anyone tell me what type of thermostat this is. The engine is a CA, but I don't know what year. I can't seem to find a picture of this type from any of the suppliers I'm using.

That is the OEM thermostat that Allis Chalmers used.   I have two NOS ones and spring and one used one available.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.

They call that style thermostat a "bellows" style. I have a common 180 degree thermostat in mine. It is the replacement type that comes with a seat for the thermostat to sit on and a thick rubber washer to seal the top of the thermostat to the housing that's intended for many tractors. The seat doesn't work in the housing, but the thermostat and thick washer do with a hardware store spring to hold the thermostat in place.
