Can anyone tell me what type of thermostat this is. The engine is a CA, but I don't know what year. I can't seem to find a picture of this type from any of the suppliers I'm using.

That is the OEM thermostat that Allis Chalmers used. I have two NOS ones and spring and one used one available.

They call that style thermostat a "bellows" style. I have a common 180 degree thermostat in mine. It is the replacement type that comes with a seat for the thermostat to sit on and a thick rubber washer to seal the top of the thermostat to the housing that's intended for many tractors.
