As always I appreciate all the help I get from you guys.
 
My B is running a little rough and without the rpms/power under a load it should have. The carb has been cleaned and rebuilt . New magneto.
 
When the tractor is running I am seeing air bubbles intermittently in the sediment bowl.
Is that an indicate of a plug/dirt in the gas line?
 
Is there a way to adjust the governor to increase the rpms/power? If so pictures would help.

Mark, I doubt the air bubbles would cause any problem, but I don't know that I have every seen the like.
 Setting a rebuilt carb needs to be done under load to get the best out of the engine. I don't know how it was set, but this could be part of the problem. What kind of shape is the rest of the engine? It could be low on compression if it hasn't been rebuilt lately. What shape are the valves.

 Sometimes tractors that sit alot just need the snot worked out of them. Most every tractor I have bought in the last 15 years benifitted from exercise. Sticky rings & valves can  sometimes"heal" themselves with a few workouts, some tuneup parts and fresh fluids and filters. Don't try to go to the governor first without a tuneup and re-setting the valve lash.

I would at least inspect the governor before I would do any adjusting. I have 8 CAs and one B. Plus some spare governors. Almost all have wear or are worn out. One even tried to get through its housing. And recently a forum member had a governor fly weight come off and lodge in the timing gears. Couldn't hurt to just inspect.
