A friend of mine keeps calling a certain AC logo a - STAR - i say its a SUNBURST - WHICH IS IT PLEASE ??? Thanks !! I dont have any pics , but i believe its from the 50,s ??

If you are talking about the one I think you are I always heard it called a diamond logo. The ouside is square and always turned like a diamond. The logo itself is sort of a sunburst. It was on the old D-series tractors. |

Sunburst is correct. The "sunburst" was used in all the diamond Allis logos pre 1965.

Huh...so that means that all D-19's had the diamond logo then, if the logo changed in 1965?
I think I have seen other D-17 series IV with the later post-1965 logo, is that right then???

yes late D17's, and late D15 ser II had the C inside the A logo like the D 21's
