Can I tap a wire off the 12v wire going to that oil press sending unit to power my Hobbs meter without screwing up any oil press indications? It’s what I need for the key on/off to run Hobbs. For sure I’m not the electrician😆😁. Thanks to all, Dana

I think the wire going to the OEM pressure sender is not 12V. IT is either grounded or not to on/off the light.

Ok Shucks. I do not want to open the panel and I am having a heckuva time finding a 12 V source that follows the key position.

Couldn't you just go off the key switch? The bottom of the console comes off and it would be easier to get too than some other places.

Yeah farmboy I could have but didn't. And thanks Tim I had forgotten that! I have a 12v wire with an inline fuse coming to a neat switch on the right side of the instrument panel, then out to the Hobbs and usb charger. When the tractor is started and shut down this switch must follow. Oh well all 4 muscle tractors now have new Hobbs. Cheers and safe days ahead y’all. Dana
