AC wagon or running gear

I’ve enjoyed learning a little bit more about the Allis Chalmers’ running gear models. I came in to one quite by accident. When I got this home I found the ID tag under several layers of paint. Trying to learn more about it and want to try to bring it back to its original condition for use in hayrides. Not quite sure how I’m going to build it out. I am curious about what style/brand tires would’ve been original. Only two of the four wheel hubs have zerk fittings in the caps. Not sure if that’s original. Also one wheel was replaced. The stem comes out from the inside on that one. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you – Ben

Stockman (Ben), your wagon gear’s ID tag reads, “cat no, 2013920” which corresponds to an AC 701 model. The AC 701 gear could have been supplied with a number of tire/rim options. It's August of 1966 sales brochure list the following wheels(rims) sizes (Inch diameter x inch width) then probable tire sizes;
14 x 6, (G78-14s,8.5-14?)
15 x 6, (9.5-15?)
16 x 6.5, (7.5-16?)
15 x 8, (11-15?) flotations
15 x 10, (11-15,12.5-15?)flotations
15 x 5.5 (6.5-15?,7.5-15?)
Your grease zerk hubs would have been an add-on as I don’t believe that to be original.

All hubs & wheels should include a common “EWC” stamped ID.
EWC Q709 is their hub ID.
Their spindle size is 1 3/4” welded into their frames. The Q709 bearings are as follows;
1 3/8” LM48548/LM48510,inner
1 1/4” LM67048/LM67010,outer,
N41461S(National), CR 15190(Chicago Rawhide, 901283, hub seal.

Appreciate that information! I did build it out and currently have the same wheel configuration as when I bought it. If I ever have to change the tires I’ll probably double back on the wheel question. Thanks again for the input

Nice!  Thanks for sharing the pic!  Stockman is correct, I never saw any hubs with zerks.  Those would be an add on or a replacement. Not original.    Luv seeing these wagon gears brought back to life!  It is appreciated!!
