Movin' things around in the garage and trying to get things cleaned up, I decided to install the Kohler V-twin in the 716H just to get it off the bench. It has to be raised an inch or so in order for the driveshaft to align up, but this looks like its doable.

It will fit my friend has a 25 vtwin in a 7014 simplicity. He has a widened tiller. The tractor does not even know it is back there at all. He also re pullied the bevel box to speed it up. That baby really moves.

That's interesting. When I put the command in my Sovereign the crankshaft centerline was perfect without spacers.

25 hp is a big block crank is lower in 23 by about an 1 inch just whent out and mausured my 25 and a magnum 18 both was 6 1/8

both engines sitting on the floor so bottom of block to centerline crank k301 ,k321 same also ill bet that 23 is shorter

looked up specs 18 to 25 is all 6.125 dont know why i thought 25 was differant but i sure could not shoe horn it in the 616 if i read correct 18 to 25 are all the same width and hight
