If you will notice in the picture I have an issue with the cover for the traction Booster lever.  The slot with decal for the lever is at the bottom of the cover and someone just cut a notch out of the top for where the lever actually sits.  I took the cover off and I do not see how the lever brackets would allow it to orient that low.  Do I have a cover from a different tractor is my linkage screwed up?  Mike

My 8030 doesn't have that lever, is it an early one or a late one?

Your lever is mounted incorrectly, or the wrong lever has been mounted.  It should fit the shield down below, where the slot and decal are.

Thanks a bunch Russ.  Looks like somebody put a different lever on, I wonder what is originally off of? Your interior certainly looks a lot better than mine, i guess it is getting time for a new cab kit.  Mike

That used to be the right lever. You can see were it broke off at the bottom, then somebody fixed it by cutting off the offset, and welding it on up top, that is not a factory weld you see there.  also looks like the bend at the knob has been striaghtened may even be vice marks there too.  Probably better design, but the cover dosen't work with it that way.

I think that is a very likely senario Orange Blood.  Anybody have a good used lever and cover available?  Mike
