It's been a few years but someone referred me to a company in Michigan that had tach sensors that would work for my 8030 and 8050 tractors. Anybody remember the name of the company?

I used an isspro sensor on my 8050 and it works fine .Its a generic magnetic sensor, the isspro part # is R8938 it is 2 wire , 2 inch long with 3/4 X 16 thread pitch and its $69. Any diesel repair shop should be able to get it for you or go to isspro.com ,here it is, hope this helps you ....Jb http://www.isspro.com/search.php
