Bought a 6080 with fWD and cab, Owner said it started knocking and Quit. When loading it was told that the dealer said next time it would need a new crank. Now I'am in search of block and crank, Possibly running engine for the restoration.

If it has the front external thrust bearing cradle set up You should be fine to get a Gleaner F2-F3 engine to replace it.Don't know if later combine engines got the bigger thrust brg like tractors but wouldn't matter with the external thrust. Hope you bought it right.
