I just purchased an '83 allis chalmers 5015 tractor and am having problems with the hydrolics, the fluid looked contaminated w/water so I changed it & filter, espicialy when warmed up seems to strugle to lift, sometimes won't lift at all, I've heard of a possible internal filter that needs to be cleaned but no one knowes where it is, any help?? everything else working fine, trans. pto all good

Have you checked the fluid level. Also If water got into the system, the fluid is contaminated and will clog the filter again. There is only the single filter per the AGCO parts book.

that makes since when I changed the fluid I installed a small "oil filter" that matched up the to help clean up the system before installing the proper filter, everything worked fine at first but after acouple hours of run time stoped working again Thanks

I'll jump on the back here with another 5015 hydralic question. The loader fades with or without weight in the bucket. The 3 point arms hold good though. Any suggestions?

I am going to guess you have two different issues. Your 3 point will have an internal valve for the 3 point, and your loader has a separate valve assembly. because it would tie in to the external ports on the tractor. I think you need to rebuild your loader valve. |

I had the same problem with the bucket drifting.
I replaced the O rings in the cylinders.. You can pick them up at NAPA or order them on line. There is a nylon O ring in there also. I did not replace it Bucket is holding up fine for the last 1 1/2 years .I use my AC 5015 for just about everything ,,5 ' woods deck 3 point 4 ' tiller Hauling wood in the wither ,plowing the snow ,and digging up dirt I have a 1983 with about 1400 hours on it. |
