What vintage ?? D-21/210-220 age with oil filters that spill oil when you remove them?? or the Mark 2 version (7030 and up) with oil filters hanging on the bottom of the engine oil cooler??

All the Military gen set engines I've seen were the early style block just like 210/220, even used the DC pump still, from what I have seen, it looks like they built the like that right to the end in 86, though the latest ones had AMBAC injectors and the lines went over the manifold. This is why those engines make good swap candidates for D21/210/220 tractors. Strip down to the long block, and reassemble with the tractor components needed.

the canister oil filter housing comes off and them standard spin on housing bolts right on , as Ed said is the right block for d21 210 220 , A friend and me bought 75 from Military about ten years back ,I still have some left ,fresh overhauled,
