was looking at swapping a 371 jimie engine from hd 7 in to an hd 6 with a 4 cyn budda are they fairly easy to swap?

I have seen a 3-71 put in the HD5 which is the same rear end and such, slightly shorter front than the 6 I think. Clutch may not bolt up. If a dozer should be easier than a loader. Engine may move back toward operator slightly but I think it is doable. 
HD5B, HD5G, (2) FARMALL A's, CUB. DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME, IGNORE THE LAUGHTER. FLANNEL IS ALWAYS IN STYLE.

You will need to find a clutch assembly like the HD-5 uses. Output from the clutch to a driveline. The HD-7 engine bolted to the transmission bellhosing and the clutch was on the transmission input shaft. No driveline in the HD-7s.
