Does anyone know whether a 13' 2300 disc will fit on a standard flatbed trailer if you pull the hitch off and swing the gangs in?
If not, it's over width and would cost a lot more for trucking. I have to think it would, or dealerships back in the day would have had to spend a fortune getting discs shipped in from the factory. Thanks for any help.

Think it will stick out some even with hitch removed & gangs set in as far as possible. I had a 17.5' AC 2300 disc w/wings (about 12' folded) don't think it would tuck in to haul without a permit. But I do see discs w/wings folded up being hauled on semi's. usually have "oversize load" on front and rear. I grew up in sight of 2 dealers in late 60's early 70's we'd see them unloading equipment from semi's in their lots in pieces or at the railyard 1/4 mile away and haul parts to their lots for assembly. IHC "M" w/loader and an Oliver w/loader about same size did the unloading. I was a displaced farm kid, so always watched what went on at those places. |

I hauled our 2300 20’ disc back from PA on my gooseneck. Hitch removed, gangs folded up, hitch removed. Hung over some on each side but I never got pulled over in the 4 hr drive.
